In addition to the focus on dynamic grappling and flow rolling this March, Martial Arts Academy of Waco is excited to announce an upcoming opportunity for our practitioners. On April 13th, we will be participating in the prestigious North American Grappling Association (NAGA) event. This competition is a fantastic chance for students to apply the skills they’ve been honing, especially our emphasis on not pulling guard and maintaining a fluid approach to grappling.

The NAGA event brings together competitors from various backgrounds, offering a platform to showcase the adaptability, quick thinking, and controlled breathing we’ve been emphasizing. It’s more than just a competition; it’s a celebration of martial arts, where the spirit of camaraderie and the pursuit of excellence come to the forefront.

For those interested in participating, now is the time to intensify your training, apply the principles of flow rolling in practice, and perfect your control over breathing. The experience gained from competing in such an esteemed event is invaluable, pushing you beyond your limits and offering insights that can only be learned through the heat of competition.

Martial Arts Academy of Waco is committed to supporting all participants. We’ll be organizing extra training sessions leading up to the event, focusing on strategies, conditioning, and mental preparation. This is an excellent opportunity for our students to test themselves against others, learn from the experience, and bring back knowledge that can benefit the entire academy.

Let’s make Martial Arts Academy of Waco proud by showing the strength, skill, and spirit of our community at the NAGA event on April 13th. Whether you’re competing or cheering on your fellow practitioners, your involvement is valuable. Together, we’re not just a team; we’re a family, pushing each other to be our best selves.
